What it's for

A booking grid tells you that table 12 is taken at eight. It does not tell you that table 12 is the one by the window, next to the two large parties who arrived together. Business 3D shows the room the way you actually think about it.

Every table sits where it really sits, and takes its colour from the same status your board uses: free, booked, or arrived. One look answers the question a grid makes you work out — where is there still space, and how is the room filling up.

It is also the view to turn round and show someone. Guests choosing a spot, a member of staff learning the floor, or anyone who needs to understand the room in a second rather than read it.

How to reach & use it

Turn your phone sideways

Rotating the device is the gesture — there is no button to hunt for. Portrait shows the board, landscape opens the 3D floor.

Or keep the board

If you would rather landscape stayed on the board, switch off “Landscape shows the 3D floor” in Preferences. That choice is per device, so each person on your team can have their own.

Tap anything for its details

In Info mode, tapping a table shows who is booked on it and when. Show names to label them, and fit to view to frame the whole room.

Arrange the room once

Switch to Settings mode and tap an element to set its position, size, rotation and style. Add decorations to match the real space, then save.

Limits & good to know

The floor plan needs the width, so on a phone it is a landscape view. Upright, the app takes you back to the board.

The landscape preference is stored per device, not per business — a waiter carrying the board around and an owner showing the room off want different things from the same login.

The room is built from the units you already created; add a table in Space Management first and it will appear here to place.

Statuses mirror the board exactly. Nothing is edited here that is not edited there.

You can switch between the 3D and 2D floor at any time, and capture the current view as an image.

Frequently asked questions

Do I have to build a 3D model?

No. You place the tables you already have and set their size and angle. There is nothing to design and nothing to import.

Can different staff see different things?

Yes. Whether landscape opens the 3D floor or keeps the board is remembered per device, so each phone can behave the way its owner wants.

Is this only for restaurants?

It is built around a floor of tables, so it suits seated venues best. Other Plannera businesses manage their units in Space Management instead.
